Master's degree in Business law from Toulouse I University (2001), Benoît Aragou continued his studies in London with a Masters in European and International Law at Thames Valley University. He then obtained a DESS in Business Law – DJCE at the Université Robert Schuman Strasbourg III, as well as a Specialisation Certificate in Tax Law (2003) and then a Doctorate in Tax Law at the University of Toulouse I under the supervision of Professor Vincent Dussart. His dissertation, entitled «De l'insécurité fiscale: le risque lié à la production de la règle fiscale», was defended in 2007 and received the congratulations of the jury.
After attending the Ecole de Formation des Barreaux de la Cour d'Appel de Paris, he began his career as a tax lawyer in Fidal's international department in Paris La Défense, before joining several firms in Toulouse, where he developed a practice in tax law (tax advice, tax rulings, tax audits, tax transactions and tax litigation), Company law (M&A, fund-raising, private equity, partnership agreements, group restructuring, partner and shareholder disputes, etc.) and in Commercial law (business transfers, commercial leases, management leases, companies in difficulty, etc.).
He joined Morvilliers Sentenac as a partner in 2020.
